Comfy Cozy Oversized Lumberjack Shirt On That Very Last Warm December Day
I can’t believe that the year 2019 will be over tonight. It was not an easy but very instructive and interesting year for me. A lot has changed and I’m happy about the people I met this year at work and on our trips. I’m also so glad that I still have some very good and old friends around me, who are there for me on good and bad days, even if they live far away.
This year I have found a little bit more to myself and have learned that less is more. Therefore I want to concentrate on the important things in life.
Life is not always colorful and sunny, there are sometimes some dark sides, too. Everybody has to deal with its own daily little battles and struggles. Just remember!!! NO life or NO person is perfect and especially no Social Media feeds. I really enjoyed the offline break during our New Zealand trip and the festive days. From hiking, surfing and lots of sundowner to good food, reading books and campfires, everything was precious, which no Instagram post or story can outweigh. That made me realize that my life could go on quite well without social media and there are actually many more important things than sharing your life on social media.
I hope you will enjoy the last hours of the year 2019. I'm already looking forward to a bit of routine in my daily life, like healthy food, sports (my meditation) and some work. In January I’m already booked for two small projects. A fashion photo shoot and a commercial shoot. Really looking forward to it.
I used the last days to reflect a little and to get clear about my visions for the new year. But the most important thing is that I find more trust in myself, having more self-love and self-confidence. The rest happens by itself.
It’s not self evident to be healthy, so I am incredibly grateful that me and my loved ones are all healthy and I hope it will stay that way for a long time to come.
In this sense I wish you a super nice end of the old year and, of course, a great start into the new year.
Stay real and open minded!!!!
Love
Katy!
PS: Lately I love oversized men's shirts. You can wear them open and quickly put them on and off. At this time of the year it’s just perfect. Especially for Gran Canaria! Because we still have quite warm temperatures. This shirt is a second hand one, which I rented from the Canary Islands Costume Rental and the rest I already owned. Top and hat are super old and jeans and shoes are form last the year.
