Why A Blazer Has Become A Big Part Of My Everyday Uniform?
I know dressing between seasons is always challenging. Especially in the beginning of the spring season. Sometimes it’s far too cold for the official spring clothe but nobody wants to continue to wear heavy sweaters and a pair of winter boots anymore.
Even living on Gran Canaria my everyday outfit during the winter season has become some versions of sweater, jeans and boots. And I really had some fun wearing these winter looks. But now I really miss dressing more spring-like and especially shoes without socks. ;-)
Anyway, once spring season official starts, a blazers becomes a big part of my everyday uniform. Because it’s basically a light coat that can be worn all day and if it’s getting wormer you are able to take it off easily. The good thing is that blazer complete a look of almost any outfit. I love wearing blazer over dresses, springy strap tops like I shared in one of my previous fashion post “My Effortless Chic Look With A Must-Have Spring Blazer” or light flowing blouses and basic tees.
But today I would like to share a more casual look. Because I love casual looks with jeans and sneakers.
The combo of blazer, t-shirt, jeans and sneakers is a staple that I tend to wear from early April right through September. There are so many beautiful options for blazer like my checked blazer from my last outfit or multi-colored tweed and pastel collored like this sporty blazer. I always have a little variety of blazer in my wardrobe like a classic beige one, the checked one or this flowing pink one. They elevate every of my looks whether it be dressy or casual. I always feel my best when I have it on.
When I go shopping for blazer I always make sure to be happy with the length and the overall fit in the shoulders. Due to my body shape, which is a slight V-shape, I stay away from anything that is too boxy. I wear my blazers well fitted without shoulder pads. Sometimes an in between length can look really awkward if it’s a tad too long to be cropped. I think a good example is the fit of blazer you can see on the pics. This kind of blazer were really big in the early 2000’s. Can you remember? And now they are back and it makes me happy and comfy.
I paired the pink blazer with a basic white v-neck tee, my mum fit jeans and my light purple Vans.
Do you like my casual blazer outfit?
