Today I would like to show you my “Back-In-Winter-Look”. I know, I know…. you're probably wondering why I wear winter outfits on Gran Canaria. You think it's still warm on Gran Canaria. Actually you are right but somehow not ;-) Let me explain you why! Every Canario and all the people who live on the Canary Islands for a long time, are freezing when the temperature drops below 18 degrees. It's just a matter of habituation and the the condition of the houses. They're definitely not built for colder climates. Because they're not insulated enough, and they don't have heatings. Means there is no way to keep the houses warm. That’s why we are freezing really fast. Anyway now I’m gonna tell you about the beautiful jumpsuit.

Probably you are thinking a floral jumpsuit may not seem like a particularly versatile piece, especially when it comes to colder weather, but the beauty of this one I got from Stradivarius, is just perfect. Let me explain you why.

Because this floral jumpsuit has a dark background, and an overall small floral pattern. Floral prints with black colored background always works in autumn and winter and its overall pattern keeps the eye roving which doesn’t call attention to any unloved area of your body.

Another benefit of a jumpsuit is that you don’t need to make decisions about adding any other pieces, you just put it on and you’re done! But, to be honest, for sure all women know about the issue of wearing jumpsuits when it comes to go to the necessary room, right? This is actually a big drawback but the jumpsuit I found has luckily a button placket in the front, which is for me more comfortable and easier to undress than a zipper in the back.

I simply added a black faux fur jacket, a black belt-bag, over-knees sock boots and I was ready to go. By the way I do love this belt-bag, it is perfect for a jumpsuit and trending, too!

The over-knees sock boots, which I wore under the jumpsuit, are very comfortable and not too crazy high, which works for me perfectly. They are great for the winter season as I can wear them with skinny jeans as well as mini skirts and dresses, which I’m gonna show you in one of my upcoming post’s.
